JLP Government spending more on bushing in the Corporate Area than for the Entire Clarendon

The People’s National Party wants the National Works Agency to confirm whether 300 million is being paid out today, Friday 25th November for the bushing programme.

The JLP’s Government’s 600 million bushing programme, now conveniently upgraded in name to a bushing and drain cleaning programme, will see 79 million spent in Kingston this week, compared to the 69 million allocated for the entire parish of Clarendon.

Meanwhile in Kingston proper, streets such as East Queen Street have been ‘bushed’ and the whole of South Side in the Rae Town Division, a marginal division in Central Kingston, has had hundreds of persons bushing throughout the week, but with less than five truckloads of vegetation and debris removed.
