MP Fenton Ferguson seeks clarity on scope of Southern Coastal Highway

Kingston, February 7, 2017: Dr. Fenton Ferguson, MP, St. Thomas Eastern is shocked at a news report on CVM TV last night which gave the impression that an environmental impact assessment study is only being done on the section of the Southern Coastal Highway from Harbour View to Albion in Western St. Thomas.
Dr. Ferguson is therefore asking the Prime Minister, who is the Minister of Economic Growth and Job Creation for clarity as it relates to the section from Albion to Port Antonio.

The Member of Parliament is saying that any attempt to short change the people of St. Thomas Eastern and Portland East will not be tolerated and the full power of the people will be felt.

Dr. Ferguson further says the people of St. Thomas and Portland East are urgently awaiting the response of the appropriate authority.
