24 Sep PNP CONDEMNS KILLING OF POLICE CONSTABLE
KINGSTON, JAMAICA, September 20, 2017: The General Secretary of the People’s National Party (PNP) and Member of Parliament for South East St. Andrew, Julian Robinson has condemned the killing of police Constable, Nicaldo Green, who was assigned to the Stadium Police Station in his St Andrew South East constituency. The young constable was killed as he arrived home last evening and his weapon taken.
In visiting the police station today, Mr. Robinson conveyed the condolences of the President of the People’s National Party to his colleagues and says that attacks of this nature on personnel or institutions of law and order are worrisome signs, but urged the officers to be strong and to remember Nicaldo as a young cop filled with principles and passion for service.
The PNP’s General Secretary also urged the lawmen to leave no stone unturned as they seek to apprehend the perpetrators as the society must bring an end to the wave of criminal activity affecting the entire country.
Mr. Robinson also took the opportunity to encourage lawmen to continue engaging the citizens of the constituency in the fight against crime.
