22 Nov PNP continues its ‘Link Up With the People’
Party President, Portia Simpson Miller continues her series of ‘Link Up With the People’ tomorrow in the corporate area. This represents the final drive of the Party’s Local Government Community Outreach.
The ‘Link Up With the People’ is integral to the Party’s Local Government theme, ‘With the People! For the People!’, and rooted in our ongoing work of engagement with the people of Jamaica.
Simpson Miller will begin tomorrow’s Link Up at approximately 3pm in Mannings Hill, St. Andrew before moving to Standpipe in the Mona Division, then unto Mona Commons, Tavern, Jarrett Lane, 11 Miles (Bull Bay, Dallas), Mandella Terrace and Marverly. Residents will all get an opportunity to interact with PNP Leaders.
The ‘Link Up With the People programme will culminate over the weekend of Friday 25 and Saturday November 26, 2016, with 228 election day volunteers’ meetings for the purpose of finalizing election day preparations. The PNP is hosting 700 community meetings, 1000 corner reasonings and over 2000 walks over this series of national conversations.
