17 Sep PHILLIPS PAYS TRIBUTE TO WORLD’S OLDEST WOMAN
Kingston, Jamaica, September 16, 2017: Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Peter Phillips says the passing of the world’s oldest woman, Violet “Moss” Brown signals more than the end of an era; it is also a remarkable story of a life well-lived and worthy of celebration.
Dr. Phillips said he was honoured to have met Ms. Brown and that he will always remember her warmth and welcoming spirit; our engaging conversation and her prayer for his team.
“Even in the twilight of her years, Mrs. Brown was vibrant and recalled most of the days of her youth. She offered me a heartwarming prayer, something which will stay with me for the rest of my days,” Dr. Phillips said.
