15 Nov PNP Enters Local Debate With Confidence
The People’s National Party (PNP) says it is confident that its Councillors will honestly amplify local people’s voices with passion and determination at the National Debates Commission organized debate on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
The PNP has listed its Vice-President and Mayor of the KSAC Dr. Angela Brown-Burke, Mayor of Black River, Everton Fisher and Councillor for the Royal Flat Division Donovan Mitchell as its standard bearers for this Wednesday’s Local Government Debate.
According to the Party’s Vice-President and Local Government Spokesperson, Noel Arscott, “the debates will demonstrate the fact that it is the PNP which has election after election demonstrated real care for local people and communities”. Arscott says that the PNP Councillors share their lives with those they represent. “Local people set and drive the PNP’s agenda whether we are campaigning or not, so our debaters understand them” a confident Arscott explained.
Senator Dr. Angela Brown-Burke: Senator since January 2012-Present; Mayor of the KSAC since April 2012-Present; Councillor for the Norman Gardens Division from 1998-Present; Vice-President of the People’s National Party from 2008-Present; Holds a Doctoral Degree in Adult Education
Mayor Everton Fisher: Councillor for the Balaclava Division from 2007-Present; Mayor of Black River from 2012-Present; Served as Special Assistant to the late Minister of Agriculture Roger Clarke.
