Jamaicans overseas are part and parcel of Jamaica the nation. Jamaicans who reside in the Diaspora know that Jamaica remains ever in their thoughts and prayers. The president of the People’s National Party Mark J. Golding, MP’s dedication to the notion that Jamaica is more than a geographical construct led him to expand the Party’s International Affairs Commission to include the Diaspora and the appointment of a co-chair of that Commission who lives in the Diaspora.

The PNP now permits membership in the Party for those Comrades who live outside of Jamaica in the Diaspora, and the Diaspora now forms an additional Region in the structure of the Party. This gives Jamaicans overseas an avenue to become directly involved with the PNP.
